SONIC YOUTH: Thurston e Kim divorziano

Dopo 27 anni di matrimonio e vita musicale, Thrston Moore e Kim Gordon, cuore e mente dei Sonic Youth, hanno deciso di separarsi.
La notizia non è solo puro gossip, ma genera evidentemente dubbi e incertezze sul futuro degli stessi Sonic Youth, visto e considerato il fatto che a diffonderla è stata la Matador Records in persona:

Musicians Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore, married in 1984, are announcing that they have separated. Sonic Youth, with both Kim and Thurston involved, will proceed with its South American tour dates in November. Plans beyond that tour are uncertain. The couple has requested respect for their personal privacy and does not wish to issue further comment.

Nel frattempo, i Sonic Youth hanno in programma un importante concerto a San Paolo, in Brasile, il prossimo 14 novembre. Speriamo non ci siano brutte sorprese.
