Anteprima OSLO PSYCH Festival, 4-5-6 settembre 2014

L’estate musicale della capitale norvegese quest’anno è stata ricca di eventi.
A partire dal consueto Øya Festivalen, che in questa edizione ha visto protagonisti sul suo palco nomi come Queen Of The Stone Age, Mayhem, Outkast, Deafheaven, Neneh Cherry e Röyksopp + Robin e Brian Ferry, passando per l’imminente Piknik I Parken (Daughter, Susanne Sundfør e Petter Molvær Trio) fino ad arrivare all’ Oslo Psych Fest, appuntamento imperdibile per tutti gli amanti delle sonorità più psichedeliche e acide.
Saranno la Vulkan Arena e il Pokalen Pub, nel pieno centro di Oslo, a prestare i propri palchi a questa edizione 2014, divisa in tre giornate, che vede protagonisti nomi importanti e storici.
Oltre a Hawkwind e Ulver (che suoneranno per l’occasione il loro lavoro di cover Childhood’s End) headliner rispettivamente della prima e dell’ultima serata, il venerdì ci saranno Naam, White Hills (esponenti massimi della nuova ondata psichedelica) e la band di culto del garage rock Kåre And The Cavemen (conosciuti successivamente come Euroboys).

The 2014 summer continues being musically eventful in the norwegian capital.
From the classic Øya Festivalen, which this year has seen playing on its stage bands like Queen Of The Stone Age, Mayhem, Outkast, Deafheaven, Neneh Cherry, Röyksopp + Robin and Brian Ferry, or the upcoming Picnic I Parken (Daughter, Susanne Sundfør and Petter Molvær Trio) until the Oslo Psych Fest, an event not to be missed for all who loves psychedelic and acids sounds.
The Vulkan Arena & The Pokalen Pub, in the center of Oslo, will give their own stages for this 2014 edition, splitted into three days, starring big and cult bands.
Besides Ulver (who will play for thi special occasion, their Childhood’s End album) and Hawkwind, headlining respectively the first and last evening, on Friday there will be Naam, White Hills (greatest exponents of the new wave of psychedelia) and the norwegian cult garage-rock band Kåre & The Cavemen (known later as euroboys).
