É morto Gerard Smith, bassista dei Tv On The Radio. L’annuncio è stato dato dalla band tramite una breve news sul loro sito ufficiale.
Smith aveva 36 anni e da qualche tempo lottava contro un tumore ai polmoni.
Tutti gli impegni dei Tv On The Radio per la promozione dell’ultimo disco “Nine Types Of Light” sono stati sospesi.

We are very sad to announce the death of our beloved friend and bandmate, Gerard Smith, following a courageous fight against lung cancer. Gerard passed away the morning of April 20th, 2011. We will miss him terribly.
