U2: a giugno la ristampa di “The Joshua Tree”

Compie trent’anni proprio oggi “The Joshua Tree“, seminale quinto album in studio degli U2. In occasione dei suoi 30 anni di età la band capitanata da Bono Vox annuncia l’uscita di una ristampa del disco in questione che arriverà nei negozi il 2 giugno e sarà pubblicata dalla Interscope. 

La reissue in questione sarà disponibile in svariati formati, incluse diverse “deluxe” edition contenenti: LP originale del 1987, una registrazione live tratta dal The Joshua Tree Tour del concerto tenutosi al Madison Square Garden di New York, b-sides e outtakes registrate durante le sessioni di incisione del disco e alcuni remix ad opera di Daniel Lanois (produttore dell’album assieme a Brian Eno), St. Francis Hotel e Jacknife Lee. L’edizione in box set sarà accompagnata da un libro di 84 pagine contenente foto mai pubblicate prima d’ora ad opera del chitarrista della band The Edge.
