GENGHIS TRON: a marzo il nuovo album “Dream Weapon”

Dopo un silenzio lungo ben 13 anni tornano a farsi sentire i Genghis Tron e lo fa annunciando l’uscita del nuovo album intitolato “Dream Weapon” che verrà pubblicato il 26 marzo da Relapse Records.

I membri originali della band Hamilton Jordan e Michael Sochynsky trovano rinforzo in due nuovi acquisti: il cantante Tony Wolski (Old Gods) e il batterista dei Sumac Nick Yacyshyn. Il disco è stato prodotto da Kurt Ballou dei Converge e dal collaboratore di lunga data di Chelsea Wolfe Ben Chisolm.

Jordan parla così del disco:

Though it sounds a bit different than our previous albums, I don’t think we approached Dream Weapon any differently than the others. Michael and I take years to write and trade demos, with about 80% of our ideas landing on the cutting-room floor. Once we have a rough song idea we both like, we write dozens of drafts of a song over months before we end up with a final demo.
