GREG PUCIATO (ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan): a giugno il nuovo album “Mirrorcell”

A circa di anni di distanza “Child Soldier: Creator Of God” Greg Puciato è pronto a tornare a far tremare le casse dei nostri stereo con il suo secondo album solista.

“Mirrorcell” è stato prodotto da Steve Evetts (Sepultura, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Cure), vede la partecipazione come batterista di Chris Hornbrook (Poison The Well) e uscirà il 17 giugno per Federal Prisoner, etichetta dello stesso Puciato e Jesse Draxler.

Greg parla del nuovo singolo Lowered, che voi trovate di seguito alla news accompagnato dal video diretto da Jim Louvau e Tony Aguilera, e della collaborazione con la chitarrista/cantante dei Code Orange Reba Meyers:

When she came to the studio we had like… zero vocals for that song. I had been a little unusually stuck with that one lyrically and as far as vocal phrasings and melodies. Reba and I had such an explosion of musical and personal chemistry right away, and we ended up writing and recording all of the vocals in about six hours. It was one of the purest collaborations I’ve ever done, in terms of feeling, just really natural and explosive. She really blew me away overall. The combined energy was instant. That song turned into something really special because of that energy
