FAKE NAMES (Refused, Bad Religion, Fugazi): a marzo 2023 il nuovo album “Expendables”

Sono passati ormai due anni dall’album di debutto (e dalla nostra intervista) ed ecco ricomparire i Fake Names, gigantesca band composta da Dennis Lyxzén (Refused), Brian Baker (Bad Religion, Minor Threat), Michael Empton (S.O.A., Embrace) e la new entry d’eccezione Brendan Canty (Fugazi), pronta a pubblicare un nuovo disco.

Il sophomore album del gruppo si intitola “Expendables” è stato prodotto da Adam “Atom” Greenspan (Idles, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) ed uscirà il 3 marzo sempre per Epitaph Records.

Della nuova fatica in studio parla Baker:

The pop influences are a little more out front on this one and the production really helps it shine. It sounds more direct, more urgent. In general, Dennis writes about revolution, and Michael and I write pop songs. I’m amazed at how it works, but somehow it strikes the right balance of salty and sweet.
