GOGOL BORDELLO: il video del nuovo brano “Take Only What You Can Carry”

Manca circa un mese all’uscita del nuovo album dei Gogol Bordello “Solidaritine“, prodotto dal leader di Quicksand e Rival Schools Walter Schreifels (qui la nostra news completa) e oggi il gruppo condivide il secondo singolo estratto Take Only What You Can Carry” che vede la partecipazione del gruppo electro-folk pop ucraino Kazka.

Eugene Hutz parla così della collaborazione con la band e in particolare con la loro cantante Oleksandra Zaritska:

She is a raucous rock singer, bringing an emotional message of the uprooted people whose lives were destroyed by this fucked up war in Ukraine. Oleksandra does great justice to the lyrics. It’s something that I’ve never done before; use someone else’s poetry for lyrics. But here, the idea was to bring three diverse Ukrainian artists together into a knuckle for a continuous morale boost to the fighters and refugees.
