Addio (di nuovo) ai REFUSED: un ultimo tour nel 2025 e un disco tributo a “The Shape of Punk to Come”
“The Shape Of Punk To Come Obliterated” conterrà cover e remix dei 12 brani originali realizzati tra gli altri da Idles, Touché Amoré, Zulu, Cult of Luna.
I Refused sembrano essere giunti nuovamente al capolinea. Dopo essersi sciolti nel 1998 e riuniti nel 2012, la band svedese ha appena annunciato quello che sarà il loro ultimo tour di sempre, almeno (per ora) per quanto riguarda Stati Uniti e Canada. Si terrà tra marzo e aprile 2025 e li vedrà accompagnati dai Quicksand.
Oltre al tour, i Refused hanno anche annunciato un’edizione speciale per il 25° anniversario del loro album simbolo del 1998, “The Shape of Punk to Come“. Questa edizione celebrativa includerà demo inediti, versioni rare e alternative dei brani e molto altro ancora. Ma le sorprese non finiscono qui: la band pubblicherà anche un album tributo, “The Shape Of Punk To Come Obliterated“, con cover e remix dei 12 brani originali realizzati da 12 grandi artisti, tra cui i già citati Quicksand, oltre a Touché Amoré, Gel, Snapcase, IDLES, Zulu, Cold Cave, Fucked Up, Cult of Luna, IGORR, Brutus e Ho99o9.
