Hailing from Burkina Faso, Art Melody blends experimental hip hop with social and political driven lyrics that aim to be an educational tool for the Burkinabé people.

Reading about everything that happened in his lifetime, it seems he goes through a lot of struggle, gaining in return a unique point of view that played a key role in his songwriting

His new album “ZOODO” – released in November 2019 – was entirely produced by the French beatmaker Redrum. It’s the third time that the two musicians work together and their collaboration gave birth to African rap classics such as the 2013’s “WOGDOG BLUES”.

Originario del Burkina Faso, Art Melody unisce hip hop sperimentale a testi di natura fortemente sociale e politica con lo scopo di creare uno strumento educativo per i giovani.

Leggendo tutto ciò che ha dovuto affrontare nella sua vita, sembra che non siano state tutte rose e fiori. Tuttavia, ha ottenuto un punto di vista unico che gioca un ruolo fondamentale nella scrittura dei suoi testi.

Il suo nuovo album “ZOODO” – uscito lo scorso Novembre – è stato prodotto interamente dal beatmaker francese Redrum. È la terza volta che i due musicisti lavorano assieme e la loro collaborazione ha dato vita a classici del rap africano come “WOGDOG BLUES” del 2013.
